Fanfic is imminent

dbskylerI have finally written something again! It's in the "let it rest then do another edit" phase, so it should be finished and posted soon.
The fic is in a new-to-me fandom: Lucifer. It's a show that I started watching not that long ago, then got completely sucked into. I finished binging it last week, and I immediately wanted to write fanfic for it. It's nice to genuinely feel fannish about a show again.
It's a little intimidating to write for Lucifer, though, because it's a popular fandom and I really don't know the fandom culture at all. Although I did take a peek at some of the fanfic for it on AO3. So far, there seems to be one character that everyone hates, and some interesting ships that I wouldn't have guessed would be popular.
As for this fic I've written, I have absolutely no idea if it is a new idea, or if I've just written the most common trope in the fandom. It's a little weird to be standing on the outside, looking into a completely new fannish space. But a little fun, too.
