My daughter nudged me to take the plunge and watch it with her - and we thought it was lovely! Jo's chatty nature may have been played up just a bit too much, and the idea that somehow being around the Doctor then leads former companions to all be lefty charity types made me twinge, but otherwise it was a grand thing - I mean, a Carnival of Monsters flashback? Really? and the Clyde-Doctor-Clyde-Doctor thing was sheer brilliance. I am still snuggling his talk with Jo in the quarry-thing, very nice. ^_^
