I've seen people get these collages based on the interests listed on their LJ profiles, but sadly I have very few interests listed and so my collage was incredibly sad and boring. However, I discovered that there is also an option for getting a collage based on what you've been journaling about, and that one turned out to be far more interesting. Truthfully, I have no idea what some of these images are meant to represent, but others are very recognizable.

Are you insinuating that I talk about Doctor Who in my LJ??

(I was very happy to see Harry and the Brig and Martha show up, not to mention the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eleventh Doctors -- oh, and the Tenth Doctor, of course -- and SJS showed up THREE times for the Classic Who/New Who/SJA hat trick which was incredibly awesome; but I must confess that my favorite image is the "Welcome to Aberdeen" sign. How cool!)
