Is it August yet?

BBC America has started to run ads for the new series of Doctor Who. These ads are a black screen with the Doctor Who theme music, and a promise that we are getting the new series "in August." WHEN IN AUGUST???!

Not that I'm counting the days or anything . . .

I know! Will it be good? Will I like the new Doctor? Will I like how Clara interacts with the new Doctor? I'm so nervous! But what if it's amazing? How great would that be?

I'd guess the end of August, too, but who knows? None of us do yet, clearly. ;-p

But... we're not very far away from a new Doctor now, are we? Ooh...

I know! Doctor Twelve, coming up! Or is he Doctor Thirteen, now that War!Doctor is officially a Doctor? Or Fourteen, given that the hand-in-the-jar regeneration counted. Or, um, Series 2.1?

I think official consensus is we're not worrying too hard and calling him Twelve because otherwise the universe would spontaneously combust and have to be put back together. Again.
