So apparently BBC America will be showing "Tomb of the Cybermen" for their 2nd Doctor installment of "Doctors Revisited." Which is good, and another great choice after "The Aztecs" for the 1st Doctor, except for one tiny little detail: I've already seen both of those episodes!!!!!!! Okay, they're great episodes, and that's one of the reasons why I've seen them (also they, you know, exist, unlike some of the other choices), but how amazing would it be for BBCA to broadcast a Classic Who episode that I haven't already seen?

Of course, I am currently making that less likely by what's currently in my DVD player: "The Sea Devils," a 3rd Doctor episode that I haven't seen before. But BBCA is unlikely to choose that one for the 3rd Doctor anyway, right?

If they've done Aztecs and Tomb so far, then presumably they'll stick to a four-parter for each Doctor, so it's the same length?

In which case, you're probably safe watching The Sea Devils.

They broadcast their choice in one night, so yes, they probably won't go for a long one. But it's interesting to think about what they'll choose for the other Doctors. Hmmm, a good question for [community profile] who_at_50?

They'll probably have something with the Master for Pertwee.

Which makes sense, because... Master!

Not just the Master, but Delgado!Master!

I posed the question over at [community profile] who_at_50. I think it's going to be The Daemons, but others are thinking Terror of the Autons or (sigh) The Sea Devils. [personal profile] thisbluespirit is being contrary and predicting Carnival of Monsters.

The Daemons is finally out here on DVD, but I'm not going to rent it in case I'm right and BBCA shows it. I've never seen it!
