catching up
Jul. 16th, 2010 10:43 pmJust got back from a trip, which was really convenient for me in terms of timing because now I'm back and it's . . .
ONE MORE DAY UNTIL THE PANDORICA OPENS!!!!!!!
Can you tell I'm excited? I think I've been looking forward to this finale since Moffat was first announced as the new show-runner. I can't wait to see what he's thought up!
In other DW-watching, I've recently seen the only two episodes that still exist for "Wheel in Space," which was both happy-making because I thoroughly enjoyed them both, and sad-making because the other parts of it are no longer around to enjoy. I also finished "Doctor Who and the Silurians," which was really excellent. The ending was especially powerful, and that's despite the fact that I'd been spoiled for it; I can only imagine what it must have been like for someone who had no idea that was coming. And hey, a question for you Brig/Liz shippers out there -- even I noticed how solicitous Liz was when the Brig finally came safely out of those tunnels, and I normally have to be hit over the head in order to see shippiness. So now I'm curious -- what sparked the ship for you? Was it that moment, or a similar-type moment in another episode? Or was it just a general sense of chemistry between them? Or was it something else?
