It was spectacular, that's how good it was!
Kudos to writer Phil Ford for giving us the scariest set-up for an SJA episode yet -- everyone you care about suddenly turning on you. I was aching for Clyde, and wondering how he was going to resolve his dilemma. Well, it turned out that Sky resolved it for him due to her luckily being unaffected by the totem's curse (presumably because she's an alien), but that was okay with me. While I would have preferred for Clyde to have engineered the break-through himself, we instead got some wonderful scenes of Clyde living as a homeless teen, which managed to also make a moral point without being heavy-handed about it. It was also quite touching to see the scenes with Sarah, Rani and Carla all separately mourning for Clyde without knowing it.
But I confess that my favorite part of the episode was the sly shout-out to "Pyramids of Mars." Anyone else catch that besides me?
