Sometimes I frakking hate New York

It's 11 p.m. and some very loud group of teenagers has been screaming Christmas carols outside my window for hours now. They sound like they're at a party at someone's apartment nearby, and have I mentioned that they are screaming? Very loudly. They don't sing a whole carol or anything, oh no; they just go "Santa Claus is coming to town, ho ho ho!" and break off laughing. Then do it again. Then do some other excerpt from some other Christmas carol. I opened the window and looked around but I really can't tell where they are; I don't see anything, but boy can I hear them. Oh, now they're doing "Jingle Bells." Yelling out the "dashing all the way" part. Are they at a party? Are they rehearsing? Are they drunk? Beats me. They're out of tune, I can tell that much. Just ran through a whole verse of "Jingle Bells" and now I can hear some general talking. Now they've started "Jingle Bells" again. They get louder on the chorus, how wonderful. They especially love yelling out "hey!" at the end. Oh they are so out of tune. And so loud. Have I mentioned that they are loud?

I'd really like to get to sleep soon, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to with all this noise.
