dbskylerYes, another no on California prop 8 post. Because there are some really awesome videos out there, and I just have to post the links:
If you're against gay marriage because you don't like the idea of gay sex . . .
If you're against gay marriage because the marriage can't lead to children . . . (Although actually, gay married couples can have children. And some do have children. And before you ask, they do it the same way every other married couple who happens to be infertile with each other does it.)
And speaking of families . . .
Finally, this one isn't slick, or funny, or professionally produced. It isn't a commercial. It's simply an announcement by a politician -- the mayor of San Diego, a Republican -- who realized that he had to put away the politics and stand up for equality and civil rights. It's heartfelt and real, and well worth watching. See it here.
