A randomly generated fic rec is simply my way of spreading the fic-love around. While the calufrax recommendations are great, there are too many stories that go unnoticed. This is my attempt to rectify that a little. To mix things up, and to keep myself from getting into a recommendation rut, I go to the Doctor Who Random Pairing Generator, here, then choose a fanfic story to recommend that is related to one or both of the characters that come up. If I can't think of a good story to recommend based on the first pairing of characters, I click again to get a new pairing. My only rule is I will not recommend a story that has already been recommended on calufrax, since that defeats the purpose of spreading recommendations around.

Why the rec: It's both hilariously funny and wonderfully sweet, and that's a hard combination to pull off, let alone pull off as well as it's done here. And the characterizations are dead-on perfect. And who couldn't love a story that has Sarah say, "we're doomed"?
