Just tried checking back to the LJ news post because I wanted to see the current count for the number of disgruntled comments on the Facebook/Twitter mess, and guess what I got back instead?

"This part of the database is temporarily down for maintenance. Try again in a few minutes."

I believe we've broken LJ.

ETA: It's back up now. 8,701 comments, 131 pages. I feel like starting a betting pool on when it will hit 10,000.

My first reaction, on seeing the subject of your post in my notif email was "It wasn't me what broke it guv"...

Can't say I'm surprised that there are so many - the biggest surprise is that it's still not been amended/removed!

Yeah, I saw that. It's a buried, cryptic comment, and there has been no further word or response on this matter from LJ staff for days. I honestly hope that a fix is coming, but I do believe it's possible that we won't get one.
