--Moving soon, so I've been busy packing, and I've also been discovering all sorts of interesting things -- like the fact that I have "Terror of the Zygons" on videotape. I'd completely forgotten that. Unfortunately, the tape has now gone into a box and I won't see it again for about six weeks. However, at least that's far sooner than when that episode will get released on DVD.

--I knew I didn't have "Android Invasion" since the tape that episode was on went boom. But I did find a "best of Tom Baker" videotape box set that I didn't remember I had that might have some clips from the episode. However, in a fit of zealous packing, I went ahead and put the box set into a box before checking on that. Probably for the best, though; I'd probably have wasted hours watching the whole box set if I hadn't.

--I'm not sure why I lost track of the videos I own -- whether it's because I now mostly go to the DVDs, or whether it's because I own too many videotapes. But I obviously need to have a good old-fashioned Tom Baker VHS marathon when the movers eventually show up with my boxes.

--Caught up on "Merlin" and saw the episode where Julian Bashir plays a bad guy. Of course, I mean the episode where the actor who played Julian Bashir plays a bad guy, but it's much more fun to say it was Julian Bashir. He actually did a very good job of being a villain, even though I kept (and keep) thinking of him as Julian Bashir. In fact, it put me in the mood to go back and watch the DS9 episode "The Passenger" so I could really see Julian Bashir being evil.

--It's looking good for my being able to post chapter 5 of "Turn Again" soon. It'll be a short chapter -- just a little over 1,000 words -- but I found a good place to break so it should be a true and proper chapter. Hopefully this will keep people interested in the fic until I return from my travels and have the chance to post chapter 6! It's also looking like chapter 6 might be the very last chapter. We'll see . . .

Alexander Sidding was good, wasn't he? (He's also in an episode of Spooks that I watched recently.) It's interesting to see him in roles other than as Julian Bashir...

Hooray for another chapter of 'Turn Again' *does a happy dance*

He was very good, yes. Sadly, my first thought on seeing him show up in Merlin was "Oh no, he's gone back to England! Does this mean I won't see him in U.S. shows anymore?" --and then I realized that I haven't seen him in any U.S. shows anyway since DS9. I'd sure like to, though, because I think he's a terrific actor.

Hooray for another chapter Well, part of the credit goes to you for giving me pushes . . . thanks!

Aw... Yes, he is a terrific actor. I've no idea what else he's done since DS9, apart from those two episodes of Merlin and Spooks. I'll have to check IMDB.

Well, part of the credit goes to you for giving me pushes . . . thanks!

Welcome! I'm such an evil oppressora fic enabler! Hee...

I hope everything's going well? I meant to catch up on your last post and kept forgetting - I'm sorry!

Good luck with all the moving and leaving and generally things changing. I supposed long lost Tom Baker vids are a bit of a consolation - and a carrot to get the boxes unpacked when they turn up.

Everything is going crazy insane busy -- but overall things seem to be progressing fairly well. Trip preparations are mostly finished except for packing, so that's good. I did have to make a run to the luggage store today to buy a new bag since the one I had been planning to take turned out to be infested by moths -- and yes, it was that bad, easier to buy something new than to try to clean it (well, and the bag was over 20 years old, too, and a little too big for 21st century carry-on although I had been going to take it anyway). I have a job interview next week that I'm not prepared for yet, and I'm probably only 1/3 done with apartment-packing, but it's getting there.

And yes, yay for Tom Baker vids as an incentive to unpack!
