Fourth Doctor coming to BBC America!

BBC America is going to start showing Fourth Doctor episodes! I swear, I am almost as excited about this as I am about new Doctor Who tomorrow. They claim they'll be showing "the Fourth Doctor's best episodes," but WHICH ONES? They don't say! I am on pins and needles. What will they start off with? Ooh, could it be Horns of Nimon?*

They don't even say how long they're going to keep this going for, but they do have a nifty promotional trailer. Not sure if it will play outside of the US, but in case it does, here's the link: http://www.bbcamerica.com/doctor-who/videos/have-breakfast-with-baker/

I would imagine you're definitely getting the stories that feature a lot in the trailer? (Just call me Sherlock, ha. Or possibly Little Miss States the Obvious. :loL:)

(And then The Horns of Nimon, obviously. But definitely not Underworld!)

Well, now you're just going to make me go through and identify those episodes, aren't you? Let's see, there was Terror of the Zygons, Keeper of Traken, Logopolis, Genesis of the Daleks, Robots of Death, and whatever that clip with Adric was from. But not City of Death! Surely they'll show us City of Death? I mean, it goes so well with Horns of Nimon.

Yep, that's what I got too. I think the clip with Adric is also from Keeper of Traken. Presumably you'll get some more as well, or that's a very short run and, as you say, not only lacking in City of Death (as well as Horns of Nimon) but containing absolutely no Romana, which is silly!

On re-watch, I also identified Brain of Morbius.

Don't know if you saw my reply to ghost2 below, but I snuck a peek at the online schedule and saw they're starting off with Genesis of the Daleks, followed by Seeds of Doom. So it's Breakfast and Lunch with Baker!

Ha, I'm in the US and it won't play for me. All I really want to know is what date the episodes start airing, though.

It won't play for you?? But it's basically just a commercial. Hopefully that's a temporary glitch that will get fixed, because even though it's a commercial, it's kind of fun. Anyway, the important information: 9am ET starting tomorrow (Sept. 20th), and they claim "daily" after that.

And ha, I took a peek at the BBCA schedule, and tomorrow at 9am it's Genesis of the Daleks! Then at noon it's Seeds of Doom! A double-feature!

Yes, except they keep showing episodes I already own! Although I did very much enjoy "Robots of Death," which I don't own, and also hadn't seen in a very long time.
