Public notice: It is not any easier to settle on 10 fics to rec than it was to settle on 7 fics to rec.

I would moan about why can't I rec 14, one per each day of my two weeks, except I suspect that it would also not be any easier to settle on 14 fics to rec.

I really don't know why we can't rec 14 if we want to, but no, the official limit is 10.

I admire your ambition to theme your recs! When I discovered I had a lot of Eleven-era recs this time around, I thought about doing an all-Eleven theme in tribute to his upcoming regeneration, but I had some non-Eleven fics that I couldn't bear to not rec, so away went that plan. I always end up reccing the ones I can't bear to not rec, no matter how many recs I have or what "theme" ideas occur to me.

ETA: Upon re-reading this, I realize I should clarify: As a reader, I love themed Calufrax stints, and I do honestly wish I could pull one off. I just get too attached to my choices, even though I have other choices sitting there that would go with a theme and are just as worthy of being recced. At least I do get around to reccing them eventually (unless someone else beats me to it).

I always want a good mic of Doctors and eras, and try to rec at least a few authors who've never been on Calufrax before. This year I think all my recs are going to be scrambled by this lovely influx of pretties from Eleventy_fest

Yes, my original list was a little up-ended by Eleventy_fest, and I haven't even read all those fics yet, let alone checked which ones have been put on Teaspoon. I have my 10 recs now, though, and I am firmly shutting my eyes and refusing to be tempted by new pretties.
