OMG, Broadchurch! Just saw episode 5 -- the one where Jack kills himself. Just . . . wow. This is a really good show. (And to new people in the flist, just so you know, I am a spoilerphobe. If you've seen the show, please don't spoil me for what's coming up!)
And ha, just have to mention last week's scene with David Tennant and Arthur Darvill together. There they were, sitting on the bench, and yes, I admit it, I had a total "Oooooh, it's the Tenth Doctor and Rory!" moment. You do have to wonder if they talked Doctor Who behind the scenes on the set. There must've been at least one conversation, right? After all, we know that DT watched all of Arthur's episodes! (Lovely fanboy DT!)
Sadly, they did not interview Paul McGann for the Doctors Revisited: The Eighth Doctor special, but they did interview Daphne Ashbrook, Yee Jee Tso (who was once again very interesting and articulate, just as he was at the Gallifrey One convention), and Sylvester McCoy! I think they might've done Sylvester's interview at the same time as his interview for the Seventh Doctor special -- I have to go back and check the clothes to be sure, but they looked familiar. Too bad about no Paul, but I assume he just wasn't available. Steven Moffat talked about "the kiss," but there was no mention of the half-human thing. Probably just as well. It was nice to see the TV Movie getting broadcast once again on my television -- the last time that happened was in 1996!
