-- Was in the mood for some Third Doctor, so I'm watching "The Green Death" for the first time (yes, I actually know I've never seen this one before). I'm currently halfway through and I'm really enjoying it! There's some great relationship stuff going on between the Doctor and Jo, and spoilers ) Best line so far was the Brigadier talking the Doctor into getting involved: "The chap's green, and he's dead. Just your cup of tea." Looking forward to watching the second half soon!

-- I've been so wrapped up in the Yuletide story that I had to write, I didn't think at all about the fact that someone is out there writing a story for me! But it's starting to dawn on me now, and I'm getting very excited to read it. A new Battlestar Galactica story! Or a new Space:1999 story! Or a new Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) story! Any of those would be fantastic, and one is guaranteed. : )

-- I've posted my own Yuletide story, and I read it through one more time before posting it, and . . . hmm. Well, I do still like it, but I'm feeling less confident about it than when I finished it a few weeks ago. Hopefully that's just the normal pre-posting nervousness. Of course, there's still a wait before it becomes available to be read and people can comment on it . . . another week until I find out if I've succeeded, or crashed and burned!

-- There's something else that's happening in a week, what was it again . . . oh yeah, part one of "End of Time"! I am getting really, really, really excited to see that, and also very nervous. Please, oh please, let it be good! I've got "Planet of the Spiders," "Logopolis" and "Caves of Androzani" on standby, just in case I need a remedy for a bad regeneration scene . . . and "Christmas Invasion" in case I need to pretend that the Doctor just regenerates back into Ten again.
