dbskylerWow, am I really able to access LJ? Is this going to post? If so, it will be the first time I've had real access since Sunday (and that day was pretty iffy).
However, I can't blame LJ as they are the victims of another DDoS attack, and a pretty nasty one by all accounts. While part of me is a little annoyed that a segment of LiveJournal is attracting attacks (and I'm pretty sure it's not our little fandom corner that is generating that ire), a greater part of me is proud to be a small part of a platform that is obviously important for free speech.
So let's see, what should I talk about (assuming this actually posts)? I admit I'm slightly unprepared, as I never expected to actually get to my journal. Hmm. Well, I saw Karen Gillan on the Craig Ferguson show and was a little disappointed. I've decided that while I like Craig in general, and really enjoyed his performance on "Drew Carey," I don't like his talk show. It's just a little crass for my taste. Also, I didn't find Karen's interview very engaging, and I'm not sure if it was Karen's fault or Craig's fault, or just a function of how late it was getting (the show is broadcast after midnight here). Hopefully I'll like Matt's appearance tomorrow better, assuming I stay up to see it.
Not much else to say at the moment except: Doctor Who will be back August 27th! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
