happy Friday the 13th!

My goals for the day:

-- walk under a ladder (1)
-- have a black cat cross my path (2)
-- step on a crack (3)
-- spill salt (4)
-- break a mirror (5)

And since I don't want to actually go out of my way or anything, the reality check:

(1) might be hard to find a ladder to walk under -- I don't have one -- but we'll see
(2) doubtful; this was easier back when I owned a black cat
(3) this one's actually hard to not do around here
(4) but not where I have to clean it up again
(5) well, maybe not -- don't want to have to buy a new mirror

So much for my day of anti-superstition protest . . .
