Just having one of those days today. Stressful at work, then the New York City metro system sucked $2 off my card (one of those "swipe again!" "swipe again!" "insufficient fare!" situations, when I know I had $2.95 left on it -- and yes, $2.95 is a strange amount, don't ask) . . . then I banged my leg in the subway turnstile and it really hurts, still . . . and then I had to wear my railroad-train pajamas.
Okay, not quite that bad, but yes, that's how it feels.
But now I'm home, and I found waiting in my mailbox part two of "Trial of a Time Lord" from Netflix, which I have never ever seen, and things are looking up.
Time for a cup of hot tea and a DVD, and to take a deep breath and know that some days are like that.
Even in Australia.
(And New York.)
