I'm tempted . . .
Mar. 4th, 2009 09:33 pmSo the sock puppeteers over at
cot_tossed have started a general review site, named
fic_tossed where authors can request an honest, public review of a fic. Now I would love love love to get honest feedback, especially from these people, because I think they are good at judging the merits of a story, and even when I don't agree with them I can see why they said what they did.
The public part of the review, though, is a little scary. But on the other hand, I see why they'd want to require the review to be public.
Part of me is tempted to ask for Fallacy Somewhere just because it's the one that I have the most confidence in actually being pretty good, but then it would so totally suck if they didn't agree. And the point shouldn't just be to try to garner a positive review, it should be to get feedback on something that I would really like feedback on . . .
I think I might do it. I think I even know which fic I might request them to review. Eep. Eep eep eep. Do I really want to do this?
