Teaspoon meme
Yes, this meme has been around for awhile, but I haven't done it yet and I'm finally feeling in the mood.
Teaspoon Meme:
Open up your "Manage Stories" page on Teaspoon and unfold all the chapters. For the purposes of this meme, disregard first chapters of multichapter fics.
1. Total number of completed fics on Teaspoon: 11
2. Highest hit count: One-shot / Chapter of a multichapter:
For a one-shot, it's 921 for "Fallacy Somewhere," unless you don't count that as a one-shot because of the chapter of Gilbert and Sullivan reference explanations, in which case it's 762 for "Subtext." For a multi-chapter, disregarding first chapters as instructed it's "This Never Happened," with 759 for chapter two.
3. Lowest hit count: One-shot / Chapter of a multichapter (not counting WIPs):
For a one-shot, it's "What Happened?" with 401. For a multi-chapter, it's the last chapter of "Miles from Aberdeen," with 323. And guess what? Those are my personal picks for my least favorite and favorite story that I've written. So one is deserved and the other one, well . . . maybe it's deserved too, but I still like it.
Oh, the reference chapter from "Fallacy Somewhere" is lower still, at 152, but it's not part of the story so I'm disregarding it. Actually, I'm amazed that that many people got curious.
4. Most reviews: One-shot / Multichapter:
For a one-shot, it's "Subtext" with 10. For chapter of a multi-chapter, it's "Miles from Aberdeen" with 8 reviews for chapter one. Unless the question means total number of reviews, in which case it's still "Miles from Aberdeen," with 30 (but isn't this heavily dependent on the number of chapters?)
5. Fic with the number of reviews that bums you out the most (hey, let's exorcise those demons of self-doubt!):
"Subtext: Silence in the Library / Forest of the Dead" at 2 reviews. This is probably my worst-ever title, too, but I thought at the time that I might turn this into a series, and then I posted the story and it sat and sat and sat and got no reviews at all. Zero. Then I blogged on my journal about how sad and pathetic it was that it had no reviews at all, and
minerva_fan took pity and went to go read it and left a review, which eventually begat a second review. And there it rests to this day. Strangely enough, it's slowly become one of my more-favorited fics, but I've been afraid to go back and re-read it for fear that I'll find out that it really sucks.
6. Top 3 fics favourited by others:
I'm going to split this up by one-shot and multichapter, because I think some people "favorite" multichapters just so they can get notified of updates and then are too nice to "unfavorite" them later.
For a one-shot, it's "Fallacy Somewhere" with 10, and for a multi-chapter it's "Miles from Aberdeen" with 17. Oh, and I need one more? Well, going back to one-shots it's a tie between "Subtext" and "To the Rescue" at 8 each.
7. Number of people you have favourited:
I don't favorite authors, sorry . . . it just feels weird to pick out a few people.
8. Number of reviews you have left: 226

Btw, I *loved* your 'Fallacy Somewhere' story! Really, how often do we get a treat like Doctor Who AND Gilbert-and-Sullivan all at once? A completely creative delight.

Woo, another review! Thanks for checking it out and letting me know what you thought, even though you don't like River or New Who. And another vote for trying that out with a Classic Who episode! Okay, I will consider it. The world does need more Classic Who fic, after all.
I 'favorite' authors when I like their writing enough I want to be notified when they put up a new one, which is really all it is
That's true, but I still feel awkward since the declaration of favorite author is public. I might give in and start using the feature at some point, though.

Thanks. : ) I wrote it for a ficathon, and I can't tell you how excited I was to see a G&S prompt there for the taking.
