Mixed feelings about the new Doctor Who series

Saw the new Doctor Who trailer and was getting all excited -- more of Thirteen, and she's a woman! -- and then I made the mistake of listening to someone's analysis of the trailer, and got reminded that the new showrunner is Chris Chibnall.

I think I'll just sit here in a corner and hope he doesn't actually write any of the episodes this series.

I don't know if it's more or less annoying that they are casual watchers who don't really care about Dr Who anyway!
