Mixed feelings about the new Doctor Who series

Saw the new Doctor Who trailer and was getting all excited -- more of Thirteen, and she's a woman! -- and then I made the mistake of listening to someone's analysis of the trailer, and got reminded that the new showrunner is Chris Chibnall.

I think I'll just sit here in a corner and hope he doesn't actually write any of the episodes this series.

I went back and checked, and nope, he hasn't written a single thing for Doctor Who that I've enjoyed.

(I suppose this is how it feels to be a Moffat-hater!)

LOL, yes, I guess so! And I never understood how anyone could just hate Moffat and everything he wrote, because for me, his episodes differed so much. But now I get it!

I guess I'll just have to hold out hope and watch with an open mind. Maybe he'll surprise me.
