interview with five Classic Doctors

This was just linked in a thread on [community profile] doctorwho, and it's so marvelous, I have to pass it on right away. I love it when fandom points me to things like this that I would never have found on my own:

interview with Tom, Peter, Colin, Sylvester, and Paul
ext_3965: (11 Doctors Say Hello)

I saw this via Twitter yesterday afternoon. It amused me enormously - esp Peter trying to get his grandson to say he likes Fivey better than anyone else.

I know, LOL Peter! It was just a fun interview all around, though, and I also loved the picture. : )

ext_3965: (FA + PD Where's the TARDIS?)

Yes, yes! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

Aw, thanks. I hadn't seen that till you linked it - and how great! (And, yes, we want them back for the 50th anniversary story!)

Sylvester ♥ And, haha, I had not thought of the inter-family Doctor rivalry there must be in the Moffett-Tennant households. LOL

Paul's always v quiet in rl; he is here again. Whereas both the Bakers... Heh.

(PS. Guess what? I have watched ALL OF S6. I liked it v much indeed. It was pretty much lovely and fun all the way through.)

OMG, how amazing would it be to have them all back for the 50th anniversary? Even Colin, who said he didn't want to do it, LOL.

Actually, as far as I'm concerned, Colin can stay off the episode as long as he appears on the DVD commentary. Can you imagine? He'd just sit back and riff on everything. And then Peter would riff back. Poor Paul still wouldn't get a word in edgewise. It would be EPIC.

And YAY for watching S6!!! I'm so glad you are finally feeling well enough to watch it. And you liked it! Hurrah!

!!! 0_o I hadn't even thought of the commentary potential!! If they don't get them all back, they have to at least get Colin and Peter to do a bonus commentary - after all, David Tennant did one for the Five Doctors, so it'd only be fair. Oh my.

Yes, I did. I really did. It went from being a real effort to suddenly being easy and fun, and now I want S7! I have to wait?! ;-D

Hey, the rest of us had to wait between "A Good Man Goes to War" and "Let's Kill Hitler" -- be glad you got to watch it back-to-back!

(But yes, I want S7 now, too!)

YES!!!!!! Well, Colin wasn't in the Five Doctors, but that just means he's owed twice, right? : )

I know, but it's worse when you watch it all at once (well, obviously not literally all at once) because you get used to it, and there's not very much of it - it seems a much longer series when you wait a week (or months!) for each installment. I'm now all in the habit of putting brand new DW on my DVD player... and it's terribly moreish, and I've run out!! (I know, I know... I bet you really feel for me here.)

:-)

Nobody ever needs any excuse at all to put Colin and Peter on a commentary. This is a new rule I just made up.
