Peter Davison pwns the world

Peter Davison's opening ceremonies video for Gallifrey One is up on Youtube, and I just laughed my way through the whole thing. The man is a genius, seriously.

(Pers, you in particular have to watch this. You'll know why once you've seen it.)

Not until the autumn series (officially S5) - he's taking over as Alesha's overall boss (ie the head of CPS) as they're making Bill Paterson's George Castle the new Director of Public Prosecutions. (I did mention it on my LJ after they announced Bill and Ben Daniels were leaving...)

So in other words, there will be lots of scenes between Peter and Freema? Wow!

I tend to skip L&O:UK stuff on your LJ as I'm just not into the show. However, I have actually seen more of L&O: UK than I've seen of the original L&O (or any of its American spin-offs). I sometimes drop in on an episode just to catch Freema.

If Peter's character plays the same sort of roles as George Castle, yes....

Well if you skip, you can't complain if you miss hearing it!

Yeah, but I'm sort of surprised there wasn't more talk about it on the general Doctor Who comms. Perhaps with big subject lines, like "Peter Davison to star in Law & Order: UK!" I'm pretty sure I would've noticed that . . .

*shrugs* There probably aren't that many cross-over fans.
