Peter Davison pwns the world

Peter Davison's opening ceremonies video for Gallifrey One is up on Youtube, and I just laughed my way through the whole thing. The man is a genius, seriously.

(Pers, you in particular have to watch this. You'll know why once you've seen it.)

*I* have already seen it - it was posted to Freema Love last night.

Glad you saw it! I loved surprise!Freema in this, and I think it's awesome that she agreed to do the cameo.

Well, given that she and Peter are still (to the best of my knowledge) filming the latest 13 episodes of 'Law & Order: UK', I don't suppose she needed much prompting. I suspect she thought it'd be a giggle.

Peter Davison is on Law & Order: UK? When did that happen? What part is he playing?

Not until the autumn series (officially S5) - he's taking over as Alesha's overall boss (ie the head of CPS) as they're making Bill Paterson's George Castle the new Director of Public Prosecutions. (I did mention it on my LJ after they announced Bill and Ben Daniels were leaving...)

So in other words, there will be lots of scenes between Peter and Freema? Wow!

I tend to skip L&O:UK stuff on your LJ as I'm just not into the show. However, I have actually seen more of L&O: UK than I've seen of the original L&O (or any of its American spin-offs). I sometimes drop in on an episode just to catch Freema.

If Peter's character plays the same sort of roles as George Castle, yes....

Well if you skip, you can't complain if you miss hearing it!

Yeah, but I'm sort of surprised there wasn't more talk about it on the general Doctor Who comms. Perhaps with big subject lines, like "Peter Davison to star in Law & Order: UK!" I'm pretty sure I would've noticed that . . .

*shrugs* There probably aren't that many cross-over fans.

 I hadn't seen it before, and it was fun - thanks! :-)

I think my favorite part was, "Is it too late to get Colin Baker?"

:-) So hard to choose, but hehe, yes. And I adored the bit where he goes to the DW Experience for the TARDIS. ♥

This is beyond wonderful! He's still my favorite. Thank you so much for posting the link.

Just the fact that he would go to the effort to make this video shows what an amazingly nice person he is. The fact that he's hysterically funny is icing on the cake!

That was brilliant! Nine shades of epic and so, so funny!

I think they need to invite Peter Davison every year in the hope of continuing to get videos like this. : )
