Thanks to a rule change (two open claims are now allowed at a time) and some pimping, the ![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
dw_50ficathon has passed the halfway mark -- we have 28 years claimed or fulfilled!
Which is still not 50, but 28 fics based on 28 years of Doctor Who? That's pretty awesome. : ) Also, there's still several weeks for new claims before Nov. 23rd.
Finally, I keep reminding myself that there's no word minimum -- perhaps I should encourage a fill-a-year-with-a-drabble madness session in the closing days?
However, while counting up unfilled years, I made the omg-I'm-so-stupid discovery that the ficathon actually needs 51 fics to fulfill every year from 1963 through 2013, not 50 . . . (shhh, don't tell anyone).
