Doctor Who spotting on American mainstream television!

Just saw last night's episode of "Big Bang Theory," which involved a costume party on New Year's Eve at the local comic book store. (Yes this show is just that cool.) In among the various costumes, the owner of the comic book store had on something awesome:

(This is my first time doing a picspam, so hopefully it will work . . . )

Look! Do you see it?

I'm guessing the addition of the watch was his nod to Eleven . . . ; )

And one more picture, with Sheldon as the Flash:

No one commented on the costume, unfortunately, but it was there!

I love this show and want the current season out on DVD stat.

(lacking cable has never been so annoying...)

And the videos at cbs.com are region-locked to U.S. only, aren't they? Which doesn't make any sense to me. I get why the BBC has to restrict international viewing when their programming is tax-supported, but why does CBS want to prevent Canadians from seeing their commercials?

Oh well, it will come out on DVD eventually and then you'll get to see it commercial-free!

Beasts me. Especially when all of their shows air here anyways. I mean, the only thing I can think of is bandwidth costs and copyright concerns... but we're such a small country that the first isn't really going to matter on top of the US's own population and as for the second... all of their shows air here anyways.
