they were tidbits I think I were better off being surprised by while watching the actual episode. I'm so bad it this, I don't think I've gone spoiler free for shows I watch since I was a little kid, back when I didn't know how to use the internet.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I saw "Army of Ghosts" back before I was on LJ, and there was a surprise in that episode that was great, a true "OMG!" moment that I somehow think would not have been a surprise if I had been more involved in Doctor Who fandom at the time. But LJ and the internet have pointed me towards a lot of wonderful stuff I would never have known about otherwise -- for example, the Planet of the Dead parody by Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre -- so it's worth it anyway.
